Liga MB top team - Aguila (9-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fifth ranked Santa Tecla (6-4) 75-70. Aguila forced 24 Santa Tecla turnovers. Strangely Santa Tecla outrebounded Aguila 41-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. Panamanian forward Pablo Rivas (198-1994, college: NCCU) nailed 24 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and American point guard Marquise Mosley (175-1997, college: Biola, CA) accounted for 24 points and 7 assists. Rivas is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Dominican Ezequiel Perez (201) came up with 22 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and American forward Christopher Blake (195-1988, college: Detroit) added 23 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Santa Tecla in the defeat. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Aguila. They maintain first place with 9-1 record. Santa Tecla at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Cojute.
