Abejas took 2-0 lead after storming past Dorados in Game 2. Abejas dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Dorados' 32. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Guard Michael Smith (193-1995, college: CBU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Wayne Langston (200-1993, college: Murray St.) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five Abejas players scored in double figures. Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) replied with 19 points and 9 assists and forward Diamon Simpson (204-1987, college: St.Mary's, CA) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Dorados. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
