Finals Game 1: Trotamundos - Cocodrilos 72-63

Trotamundos toppled Cocodrilos to take 1-0 lead in the Finals. Trotamundos outrebounded Cocodrilos 48-30 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Jhornan Zamora (196-1989) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Dwayne Davis (196-1989, college: Southern Miss) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Dominican Juan Guerrero (203-1993) answered with 16 points and international guard Luis Betancourt (183-2002) added 12 points in the effort for Cocodrilos. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
