Astros fired past Mineros to force the decisive seventh game in the semifinal series. Astros made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was Dominican Rigoberto Mendoza (190-1992) who scored 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Javion Blake (190, college: Washburn, agency: Haylett Sports) chipped in 25 points and 6 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). At the other side the best for losing team was Panamanian-Chilean guard Eugenio Luzcando (187-1995, college: Idaho St.) who recorded 14 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and naturalized American Durrell Summers (196-1989, college: Michigan St.) added 21 points respectively. Five Astros and four Mineros players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
