Trotamundos held off Cocodrilos to take 2-0 lead in the Finals. International center Nestor Colmenares (200-1987, college: Campbellsville, agency: Pro Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized American Donta Smith (201-1983, college: SE Illinois JC) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Four Trotamundos players scored in double figures. Dominican Luis Montero (203-1993, college: South Plains, agency: BIG) replied with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Dominican Juan Guerrero (203-1993) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Cocodrilos. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
