Very expected game in Cordoba where 12th ranked Penarol (1-2) was defeated by second ranked Atenas (5-1) 91-83 on Thursday. Atenas made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 61.9 percentage. The best player for the winners was Octavio Sarmiento Battistoni who scored 27 points and 5 rebounds.
