Top ranked Atenienses (8-3) recorded its third loss on the court of second ranked Moca on Wednesday night. Visitors were edged by Moca 77-75. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Moca looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Alexis Jennings (190-1996, college: S.Carolina) fired 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Jennifer ONeill (165-1990, college: Kentucky, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. American swingman Kaela Davis (188-1995, college: S.Carolina) produced 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and her fellow American import guard Linnae Harper (175-1995, college: Ohio St.) added 18 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Moca and four Atenienses players scored in double figures. Atenienses' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Moca maintains second position with 7-5 record behind leader Manati. Atenienses at the other side still keep top place with three games lost. Moca are again looking forward to face league's leader Atenienses in Manati in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Atenienses will have a break next round.
