Rather predictable result when third ranked Amazonas (4-5) won against bottom-ranked Felinas (3-7) in Cocle 62-51 on Friday. Amazonas forced 28 Felinas turnovers. Colombian Juliana Jimenez (-2000) nailed 23 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals for the winning side and Colombian center Libia De la Rosa (185-1992) accounted for 9 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Tayina Ellis (182-1984) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds and Ivanis Gonzalez added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Felinas in the defeat. Felinas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory Amazonas went down to fourth position due to points difference. Newly promoted Felinas stay at the bottom place with seven games lost. Amazonas will meet league's leader Leonas in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
