No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Cordoba (4-1) beat 9th ranked Riachuelo LR (2-3) in La Rioja 63-50 on Saturday. The winners were led by the former international swingman Agustina Garcia (173-1996, agency: BIG) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Julieta Armesto (179-1994) supported her with 12 points. Even 21 points (made all of her seven free throws) by Florencia Ortiz did not help to save the game for Riachuelo LR. Natalia Gervasio added 8 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Cordoba have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Quimsa. Riachuelo LR at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the sixth place with three games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams.
