Everything could happen in Cordoba at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Ameghino and 8th ranked Riachuelo LR had identical 2-4 record. This time Ameghino used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from La Rioja 61-55 on Sunday night. Ameghino made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Maira Perren who scored 16 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Uruguayan point guard Josefina Zeballos (173-2003) chipped in 13 points. Ameghino's coach Ramiro Ortiz allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Natalia Gervasio produced 11 points and 6 rebounds and Ornella Santelli added 14 points respectively for the guests. Ameghino (3-4) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Catamarca.
