Cayenas beat Taurinas to move closer to the Finals. Cayenas players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Taurinas were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for the former international forward Ivaney Marquez (181-1983, college: Grayson County) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. The former international Yosimar Corrales (184-1990) accounted for 24 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. The former international forward Endrina Bolivar (-1990) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and international point guard Guadalupe Diaz (163-1999) added 18 points and 5 assists respectively for Taurinas in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Taurinas' coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
