Power forward Josimar Blenman (200-1989, college: Globe Tech) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Naturalized American Adalberto Rojas (200-1986) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Abid Oses (197-1995, college: Antelope Valley) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds and the former international center Miguel Gotti (203-1990, college: W.Nebraska) added 7 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Halcones. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
