Very important is a road loss of second ranked Goes (5-2) against ninth ranked Penarol (4-4) on Friday night. Visiting Goes were defeated by Penarol in a tough game in Montevideo 81-87. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Charles Thomas (202-1986, college: Arkansas) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import power forward Lee Roberts (203-1987, college: Findlay, OH) who added 21 points during the contest. Venezuelan center Windi Graterol (204-1986, agency: Pro Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 20 rebounds and Joaquin Osimani (193-1987) scored 18 points and 6 assists. Four Penarol and five Goes players scored in double figures. Penarol moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Aguada. Loser Goes keep the second position with two games lost.
