No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked Brasilia (3-6) beat on the road bottom-ranked Cerrado (1-9) 96-88 on Saturday. Brasilia dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Cerrado's 30. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Douglas Dos Santos (201-1998) nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and guard Gemadinha Sacco (183-1997) accounted for 25 points. American guard Rashaun McLemore (195-1986, college: CSUN) came up with 28 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import guard Anthony Harris (196, college: Chicago St.) added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Cerrado in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Brasilia maintains twelfth place with 3-6 record. Cerrado lost their eighth game in a row.
