No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Rocamora (5-5) edged 10th ranked Union Florida (3-7) in Concepcion de Urug. 43-42 on Saturday. Rocamora forced 22 Union Florida turnovers. Strangely Union Florida outrebounded Rocamora 38-22 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Ines Fernandez who led the winners and scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Antonella Gonzalez (155-1990) accounted for 9 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Point guard Julieta Sienra (161-2003) came up with 10 points and Myriam Alonso added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Union Florida in the defeat. Union Florida's coach Nicolas Grosso tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Rocamora. They moved-up to seventh place. Union Florida lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. Rocamora will meet league's leader Obras in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Union Florida will play against Ferro Carril (#10) in Olavarria and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
