There was a surprise result when ninth ranked Ferro Carril (3-6) won against 4th placed Pacifico (6-6) in Olavarria 67-52 on Sunday. Ferro Carril forced 21 Pacifico turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Abril Romagnoli who led the winners and scored 17 points. Forward Tamara Pinto (183-1999) accounted for 13 points for the winning side. Ferro Carril's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Natassja Kolff (188-2004) came up with 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Valeria Fernandez (-1998) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for Pacifico in the defeat.
