The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Brazilian Minas (1-1) in Belo Horizonte on Tuesday night. Hosts were edged by Argentinian Quimsa (2-0) 95-93. The best player for the winners was American Brandon Robinson (196-1989, college: Clayton St.) who scored 27 points. His fellow American import power forward Eric Anderson (204-1993, college: New Haven) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. Quimsa's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
