An exciting game was played in Montevideo. Argentinian Quimsa faced Uruguayan Bigua. Guests from Santiado del Estero (2-0) defeated host Bigua (0-2) 88-73. They outrebounded Bigua 40-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American Brandon Robinson (196-1989, college: Clayton St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 4 assists. Power forward Sebastian Acevedo (200-1990) helped adding 13 points and 5 rebounds. Quimsa's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American Victor Rudd (206-1991, college: S.Florida) with 24 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 18 points. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
