Very expected game when 14th ranked Argentino (6-11) was smashed by fourth ranked Independ.O. (9-4) in Olivia 71-48 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for guard Nicolas Marcucci (190-2002) who led the winners and scored 17 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Forward Matias Bernan (196-2001) accounted for 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Four Independ.O. players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players saving starting five for next games. Guard Augusto Gennero (188-2003) came up with 25 points and Lautaro Dallacorte (-2005) added 5 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Argentino in the defeat. Independ.O. maintains fourth place with 9-4 record, which they share with Regatas. Argentino lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with 11 games lost. Independ.O. will meet at home Ferro (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Argentino will have a break next round.
