Regular Season Round 13: Penarol - Urunday 88-83
Date: December 19, 2022
There was no surprise in Montevideo where 13th ranked Urunday (3-9) was defeated by sixth ranked Penarol (7-5) 88-83 on Monday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Penarol made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Guard Juan Zanotta (185-1995) fired 29 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. German forward Robin Benzing (208-1989, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Cameron Clark (201-1991, college: Oklahoma, agency: Slash Sports) produced 25 points and 8 rebounds and American-Nigerian swingman Tanksley Efianayi (198-1994, college: UCF) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side.
