Eleventh-ranked Brasilia (6-13) gave a tough game to eighth ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (10-8) on Monday. Paschoalotto/Bauru managed to secure only two-point victory 72-70. However their fans expected easier game. It was a great evening for Germerson Barbosa (205-1993) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 6 rebounds. Anderson Rodrigues (207-1997) helped adding 15 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side guard Gemadinha Sacco (183-1997) responded with 18 points, 8 assists and 4 steals and point guard Guilherme Lessa (178-1995) scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains eighth place with 10-8 record. Brasilia lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Paschoalotto/Bauru are looking forward to face Cerrado (#15) in Brasilia in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Brasilia will play on the road against Pinheiros (#5) in Sao Paulo and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
