Santa Tecla F1 has finally registered their first victory this season after six consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Opico (0-7) 107-34. Santa Tecla F1 dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Opico's 26. Santa Tecla F1 forced 27 Opico turnovers and outrebounded them 47-25 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 36 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Opico's players. The winners were led by Gracia Flamenco (173-2000) who scored that evening 19 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and forward Camila Lima (172-2003) supported her with 12 points and 5 assists. Five Santa Tecla F1 players scored in double figures. Even 9 points and 7 rebounds by point guard Iris Zepeda (160-1991) did not help to save the game for Opico. Marcia Bonito added 4 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Santa Tecla F1 (1-6) left bottom position moving up to seventh place. It was Opico's seventh loss in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost.
