Regular Season Round 25: Obera - Atenas 78-72

LDD top team - Obera (18-2) added another victory to their record. This time they beat ninth ranked Atenas (9-10) 78-72. Nicolas Quiroga (191-2003) stepped up and scored 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and guard Francisco Tarnowyk (192-2001) chipped in 14 points and 4 steals. At the losing side point guard Maximiliano Araujo (183-2002) responded with 22 points and Octavio Sarmiento Battistoni scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Obera. They maintain first place with 18-2 record. Atenas at the other side dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost. Obera will play against La Union (#12) in Formosa in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Atenas will have a break next round.
