Round in LDC means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Santiago where host Santiago Max (4-1) beat league's leader Capitanes (3-2) 107-91 on Sunday evening. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Santiago Max looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Franklyn Sabater who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 assists. Moises Peralta chipped in 23 points. Guard Oliver Ferreira (189-1993) produced 25 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and forward Ernesto Rodriguez (194-1994) added 22 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Santiago Max and four Capitanes players scored in double figures. Santiago Max have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Immortals. Capitanes at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Fenix. Capitanes will play next round against league's leader Immortals trying to make it back to the top of the standings. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Santiago - Immortals. Santiago Max will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Santiago Basket. It will be extra interesting game as Santiago Basket is their local rival from Santiago.
