The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Fenix (5-1) in Santiago on Friday night. Hosts were edged by fourth ranked Del Patio (2-4) 92-90. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Fenix. It was a good game for American forward Ralph Bellamy (193, college: Harris-Stowe St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds. Brahian Mendez contributed with 29 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Sammy Rodriguez (185) replied with 23 points and 4 assists and guard Dhariam Melendez (180) added 16 points in the effort for Fenix. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Del Patio maintains fourth position with 2-4 record. Fenix at the other side still keeps top place with one game lost. They share the position with Immortals. Del Patio are looking forward to face higher ranked Sameji (#3) in Santiago in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Fenix will play against Evolve OL and is hoping to win this game.
