The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of LMMR 2 (1-1) on the court of Salvadorenas 2 on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Salvadorenas 2 73-72. Salvadorenas 2 forced 30 LMMR 2 turnovers. Strangely LMMR 2 outrebounded Salvadorenas 2 46-32 including 18 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for Camila Quijano who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points and 4 steals. Center Silvia Vega (176-2003) helped adding 12 points and 8 rebounds. Salvadorenas 2's coach used entire bench in such tough game. The best for the losing side was forward Yenniffer Pena (180) with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals and Dominican swingman Yadira Polanco (177-1992) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds. Salvadorenas 2's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in to the arena .
