Regular Season Round 35: Barrio Parque - CAO Ceres 100-80

Everything went according to plan in Cordoba where third ranked Barrio Parque (20-4) outleveled 14th ranked CAO Ceres (8-15) 100-80 on Wednesday. Barrio Parque shot 63.1 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by CAO Ceres' players. It was a great evening for point guard Nahuel Buchaillot (178-2000) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 7 assists. Tomas Ligorria (195-1994) helped adding 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Pablo Martinez (197-1982) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and Alejo Mendez scored 20 points and 4 assists. Four Barrio Parque and five CAO Ceres players scored in double figures. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Barrio Parque. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Ameghino. CAO Ceres lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 15 games lost. Barrio Parque will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. CAO Ceres will play against Libertad (#12) in Sunchales and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
