A very close game took place in Santiago between Capitanes and Santiago Max. Third ranked Capitanes (6-3) got a very close home victory over second-best Santiago Max (6-4). Capitanes managed to escape with a 1-point win 100-99 in the fight for the second place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Santiago Max. It was a key game for the second position in the league. They outrebounded Santiago Max 49-29 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Capitanes looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Guard Oliver Ferreira (189-1993) nailed 27 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and center Adris Rodriguez (203-1988) accounted for 11 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Capitanes. They moved-up to second place.
