There was a minor upset in Mercedes where 13th ranked Platense (11-15) was defeated by sixteenth ranked Comunicaciones (9-19) 65-57 on Saturday. Comunicaciones outrebounded Platense 41-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was point guard Agustin Passone (180-2003) who scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Francisco Llanos (182-2001) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Comunicaciones players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Santino Mazzucchelli who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and Lisandro Nadin added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
