Bottom-ranked Santa Ana 2 is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to fourth ranked LMMR 2 (2-4) 73-45. LMMR 2 forced 22 Santa Ana 2 turnovers. It was a great evening for Dominican swingman Yadira Polanco (177-1992) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 18 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Forward Yenniffer Pena (180) helped adding 20 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. At the losing side guard Melany Sanchez (167-2004) responded with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and center Carina Cornejo (200-1975) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. LMMR 2 maintains fourth place with 2-4 record. Santa Ana 2 at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. LMMR 2 will play against higher ranked Salvadorenas 2 (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Santa Ana 2 will play against the league's leader Santa Tecla 2 and hopes to get finally their first victory.
