LNB top team - Los Leones (13-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed fourteenth ranked Tinguiririca (2-11) in Quilpue 99-64. They outrebounded Tinguiririca 44-21 including a 35-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Los Leones looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Tinguiririca's players. It was a quality performance for American power forward Markus Kennedy (206-1991, college: SMU) who led the winners with a triple-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists. The former international point guard Tomas Alvarez (185-1989) accounted for 25 points for the winning side. Five Los Leones players scored in double figures. Guard Matias Sepulveda (-1995) came up with 27 points and the former international forward Gianncarlo Caraboni added 18 points respectively for Tinguiririca in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the thirteenth consecutive win for Los Leones. They maintain first place with 13-0 record. Tinguiririca lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 11 games lost.
