Rather predictable result when second ranked Instituto (21-3) won against 6th ranked Regatas (17-11) in Cordoba 70-64 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Dominican Enmanuel Labata notched 24 points to lead the effort and Kadir Pomare supported him with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Instituto's coach Mauro Salinas used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 23 points by Francisco Ferraro did not help to save the game for Regatas. Point guard Juan Peral (179-2005) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. Instituto have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 21-3 record having 5 victories less than leader Obera. Loser Regatas keeps the sixth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Riachuelo LR.
