Thirteenth-ranked Platense (12-16) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Obera (26-3) in Florida on Sunday. The visitors from Obera managed to secure only three-point victory 70-67. However their fans expected much easier game. Obera dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Platense's 28 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Platense 37-24 including 22 on the defensive glass. Forward Maximiliano Acevedo (203-2004) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots).
