We should mention about the upset which took place in Mercedes, where higher ranked Penarol (17-10) lost to sixteenth ranked Comunicaciones (10-19) in a road game 74-88 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was guard Francisco Llanos (182-2001) who scored 28 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Point guard Agustin Passone (180-2003) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Comunicaciones players scored in double figures. Guard Facundo Tolosa (190-2002) produced 21 points and 5 rebounds and Ignacio Bednarek (206-2001) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests.
