An interesting game for Indios (3-1) which hosted in Mayaguez second-ranked Cariduros (2-2). Third ranked Indios managed to get a 8-point victory 94-86. Indios players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American power forward Kaleb Wesson (208-1999, college: Ohio St.) stepped up and scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and his fellow American import point guard Tyreke Evans (198-1989, college: Memphis) chipped in 20 points and 8 assists. Indios' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American Victor Rudd (206-1991, college: S.Florida) responded with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international center Chris Brady (208-1995, college: Monmouth) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Five Indios and four Cariduros players scored in double figures. Indios have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 3-1 record behind leader Quebradillas. Cariduros at the other side keep the second position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Indios will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Cariduros will play at home against the league's leader Vaqueros and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
