Very important is a road loss of third ranked Indios (4-3) against fifth ranked Leones (3-4) on Wednesday night. Visiting Indios were defeated by Leones in a tough game in Juana Diaz 83-87. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-1991, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and American forward Cameron Oliver (203-1996, college: Nevada) who added 21 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The former international guard Jorge Pacheco-Ortiz (186-1998, college: Liberty) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and international forward Jordan Cintron (203-1998, college: Niagara) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four Leones and five Indios players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Leones moved-up to second place, which they share with Carolina. Loser Indios dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. Leones will meet at home Grises (#5) in the next round. Indios will play against the league's second-placed Atleticos and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
