Rather predictable result in La Banda where seventeenth ranked Argentino (10-26) outscored 19th ranked Olimpico (7-27) 97-73 on Saturday. Argentino dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Olimpico's 32. Luis Colon stepped up and scored 36 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds for the winners and Franco Capelli chipped in 9 points and 5 assists. At the losing side Carlos Hurtado responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and guard Ignacio Gonzalez (187-2003) scored 15 points. Four Olimpico players scored in double figures. Olimpico's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Argentino maintains seventeenth place with 10-26 record. Olimpico lost thirteenth consecutive game. They keep the nineteenth position with 27 games lost. Argentino will meet higher ranked Quimsa (#10) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
