Very important is a road loss of third ranked Cariduros (7-7) against sixth ranked Grises (4-9) on Tuesday night. Visiting Cariduros were defeated by Grises in a tough game in Humacao 89-97. Grises players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American Thomas Robinson (208-1991, college: Kansas) had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Dominican forward LJ Figueroa (198-1998, college: Oregon) chipped in 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. American swingman Dimencio Vaughn (196-1997, college: Rider) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Manny Camper (201-1999, college: Siena) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Grises maintains sixth position with 4-9 record. Cariduros at the other side dropped to the second place with seven games lost. Grises will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Cariduros will play at home against Indios and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
