Important game to mention about took place in Fajardo. Second ranked Cariduros (8-7) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 4th placed Indios (6-8) 81-79 on Friday evening. It was an exceptional evening for the former international forward Emmanuel Andujar (197-1993, college: Manhattan) who led the winners and scored 24 points. The former international center Chris Brady (208-1995, college: Monmouth) accounted for 21 points for the winning side. American guard Chaundee Brown Jr. (196-1998, college: Michigan) came up with 20 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import guard Jeff Early Jr (190-1988, college: SIU) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for Indios in the defeat. Four Indios players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Cariduros maintains second place with 8-7 record behind leader Quebradillas. Indios lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
