Independiente dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to San Isidro's 30. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by point guard Gabriel Rojas (180-2000) who scored that evening 13 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Mascio McCadney (190, college: MSU-Northern) supported him with 19 points. Even 21 points and 5 assists by point guard Santiago Luduena (176-1993) did not help to save the game for San Isidro. American Christopher Hooper (198-1991, college: SFC) added 12 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Five Independiente and four San Isidro players scored in double figures. San Isidro's coach Daniel Beltramo rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
