Nacional dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Hebraica's 28 and made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Hebraica 33-19 including a 24-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Hebraica helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American forward Jaylen Johnson (206-1996, college: Louisville) who scored 16 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks. The other American import guard Branden Frazier (191-1992, college: Fordham) chipped in 22 points and 4 assists. Four Nacional players scored in double figures. Panamanian Ernesto Oglivie (203-1989) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and point guard Brian Garcia (182-1990) added 17 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
