Cocodrilos did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 91-71. Cocodrilos had a 34-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Gigantes' players. The former international forward Luis Bethelmy (200-1986) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 9 rebounds. Dominican Luis Montero (203-1993, college: South Plains) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. American forward Jamison Elder (196-1998, college: Shawnee St.) replied with 17 points and American-Puerto Rican forward Jonathan Ocasio (196-1992, college: New Haven) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Gigantes. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Cocodrilos maintains second position with 17-7 record having just two points less than leader Gladiadores.
