Rayos de Hermosillo looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists. Guard Terrence Drisdom (196-1992, college: CPP) chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds. Four Rayos de Hermosillo players scored in double figures. Forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) produced a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds and guard Jimmy Whitt (190-1997, college: Arkansas, agency: Interperformances) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for the guests.
