Very important is a road loss of second ranked Atleticos (15-9) against sixth ranked Osos (9-17) on Saturday night. Visiting Atleticos were defeated by Osos in a tough game in Manati 81-89. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Atleticos. Osos made 25-of-29 charity shots (86.2 percent) during the game. American guard Sheldon Mac (196-1992, college: Miami, FL, agency: Slash Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds. The former international Christopher Ortiz (203-1993, college: Kent St.) contributed with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winners. American forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (201-1995, college: Arizona) answered with 26 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Josue Erazo (204-1995, college: PR-Rio Piedras) added 16 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Atleticos. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Atleticos' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Osos moved-up to fifth place. Atleticos at the other side keep the second position with nine games lost. Osos will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Atleticos will play on the road against Indios in Mayaguez and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
