There was a small surprise in Santiago where sixth ranked Boston College (1-4) defeated 4th ranked Arabe de Valp. (2-2) 82-73 on Saturday. Boston College forced 25 Arabe de Valp. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Lucas Marquez (196) had a triple-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Cristobal Ordonez (195-2004) chipped in 14 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Boston College players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Manuel Flores (180) with 20 points and 6 assists and Pedro Soares scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Boston College maintains sixth position with 1-4 record, which they share with Brisas and Tomas L.
