Brillantes brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Charles Thomas (202-1986, college: Arkansas) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import center Ricardo Glenn (203-1990, college: USC Upstate, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 8 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Colombian Luis Almanza (196-1991) answered with 17 points and 7 rebounds and British center Kavell Bigby-Williams (211-1995, college: LSU) added 6 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Heroes. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.
