Regular Season Round 7: Truenos - Tomas L. 65-61

Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Truenos (3-3) won against 7th ranked Tomas L. (1-5) in Talca 65-61 on Saturday. Truenos outrebounded Tomas L. 42-20 including a 32-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for forward Martin Morales (-2002) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Nick Morales (187-1985) accounted for 9 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Truenos' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Esteban Castro (-1999) came up with 17 points and 8 rebounds and forward Andres Lavin (-1995) added 10 points and 4 assists respectively for Tomas L. in the defeat. Truenos moved-up to third place, which they share with Stadio Italiano and Luis Matte. Loser Tomas L. keeps the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with Boston College. Truenos will meet at home league's leader Liceo PN in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tomas L. will play against the league's second-placed Colo Colo (#2) in Santiago and hope to win that game.
