We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Juana Diaz where 5th ranked Osos (10-20) were crushed by sixth ranked Leones (9-19) 109-88 on Monday. Leones dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Osos' 40. Leones had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Osos' players. The former international guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-1991, agency: Interperformances) fired a triple-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners. American center Thomas Robinson (208-1991, college: Kansas) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Four Leones players scored in double figures. The former international Christopher Ortiz (203-1993, college: Kent St.) produced 27 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Sheldon Mac (196-1992, college: Miami, FL, agency: Slash Sports) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Leones maintains sixth position with 9-19 record.
