A very close game took place in between Caldas and Escuela. Second ranked Caldas (5-3) got a very close victory on the road over 4th ranked Escuela (2-5). Caldas managed to escape with a 2-point win 58-56 on Saturday evening. The winners were led by the former international center Libia De la Rosa (185-1992) who scored that evening 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Valentina Lopez (-1994) supported her with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Caldas' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Even a double-double of 31 points and 10 rebounds by the former international Isabel Rodriguez (175-1999, college: Southwest) did not help to save the game for Escuela. Jeimmy Tamayo (-1999) added 9 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Caldas have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Caldas maintains second position with 5-3 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Indeportes. Escuela at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifth place with five games lost.
