An interesting game for Vaqueros (20-11) which played road game in Guaynabo against second-best Mets (17-14). First ranked Vaqueros managed to get a 5-point victory 86-81. Vaqueros forced 19 Mets turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by the former international point guard Angel Rodriguez (180-1992, college: Miami, FL, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored that evening 17 points, 9 assists and 6 steals and American-North Macedonian center Jacob Wiley (203-1994, college: EWU) supported him with 18 points. Even a double-double of 15 points, 24 rebounds and 7 assists by American power forward DeMarcus Cousins (211-1990, college: Kentucky) did not help to save the game for Mets. The former international guard Jaysean Paige (188-1994, college: WVU) added 21 points. Five Vaqueros and four Mets players scored in double figures. Vaqueros have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 20-11 record. Loser Mets keep the second place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Arecibo.
